Children’s Martial Arts Programme

UK Shaolin Youth Development Programme

Building Confident, Disciplined and Resilient Young People Through Martial Arts

Our Children’s Martial Arts Programme is designed to help young people develop physically, mentally and emotionally through authentic Shaolin martial arts training.

More than just learning martial arts techniques, our programme helps children build confidence, improve fitness, develop self-discipline and learn important life skills in a safe, positive and supportive environment.

Through age appropriate training in Shaolin Kung Fu, Wushu, Sanda Kickboxing, movement training and conditioning, students develop strong foundations while enjoying the journey of martial arts.

A Martial Arts Journey Designed for Every Stage

Building Confident, Disciplined and Resilient Young People Through Martial Arts

Every child develops at their own pace. Our Youth Development Programme is structured into three age groups, allowing students to train in an environment suitable for their age, ability and personal development.

Little Dragons (Ages 4–7)

Build Confidence. Learn Through Play.

Our Little Dragons programme introduces young children to martial arts through fun, engaging and structured activities.

Children develop:

  • Confidence and self esteem
  • Balance and coordination
  • Listening skills and concentration
  • Basic movement skills
  • Respect and teamwork

Through games, martial arts movements, agility exercises and beginner techniques, children build the foundations needed for future learning.

Junior Shaolin (Ages 8–11)

Develop Skills. Build Character.

Junior Shaolin develops strong martial arts foundations through Shaolin Kung Fu, Wushu and Junior Sanda Kickboxing.

Students learn:

  • Traditional martial arts techniques
  • Forms and movement skills
  • Kicking and striking fundamentals
  • Fitness and flexibility training
  • Discipline and goal setting

The programme encourages children to challenge themselves, improve confidence and develop positive habits both inside and outside the training hall.

Teen Warriors (Ages 12–15)

Train with Purpose. Lead with Confidence.

Teen Warriors is designed for young people ready to develop higher-level martial arts skills, physical ability and personal responsibility.

Training includes:

  • Shaolin Kung Fu and Wushu development
  • Sanda Kickboxing skills
  • Controlled partner training
  • Strength and conditioning
  • Leadership and confidence development

Students learn how to set goals, overcome challenges and take responsibility for their own progress.
