Candy graduated with BA (Hon) Public Relations from Bournemouth University and worked as a Press Officer for Bournemouth and Poole College of Education, thereby gaining valuable PR experience in dealing with the local press and events promotions.

Candy is also an Education Consultant to the Bournemouth Chinese School, where she also served as a volunteer, and Trustee, of for a number of years. Currently, Candy helps to promote Chinese Language and Culture in and outside of Bournemouth Chinese School, through festivals, and special activities such as the Lantern Competitions, Origami and Chinese Cultural workshops. Candy is passionate about learning new skills to help support young children with their academic, mental, and social well-being; and enable them to learn, grow, and achieve in a safe and stimulating environment.



Candy assists UK Shaolin Temple’s Funding, Events and Administrative teams. Candy is particular involved in realising UK Shaolin Temple’s Wellbeing Hub funding strategy. In addition, Candy supports UK Shaolin Temple as an Assistant Events Manager. She also provides key administrative support by connecting the organisation with external figures, businesses, and other organisations, which strengthen the UK Shaolin Temple’s partnerships and collaborations.
